New Idromec T750 CLS shear-baler installed

The group has taken delivery of a new Idromec T750CLS semi-mobile shear baler with a seven metre compaction box, replacing a machine that had given fourteen years of service.

It is the sixth Idromec machine bought by the family businesses over the last twenty years. As Paul Williamson put it, they are a tough machine for a tough environment, straightforward to maintain and well supported by Agriquip of Burnley.

Umbilical recycling — flushing and processing

The second stage of the umbilical job: once the reels are safely flushed and certified clean, the line is run off, cut and separated into its steel, polymer and non-ferrous fractions for recycling.

Everything is processed on our own licensed sites, so clients get a full audit trail from quayside to recycled tonnage.

Safe flushing and decommissioning of umbilical reels, ex Spirit Energy

Our decom team completed the safe flushing and de-pollution of a set of umbilical reels landed from Spirit Energy, using specialist equipment.

Wellheads, umbilicals and flowlines are all handled the same way — flushed and de-polluted before any cutting starts.

Legacy umbilical reels recycled for Taqa at the Rockrose site

A tricky flushing and recycling job completed by the John Williamson 1988 decom team. The drums were in very poor condition, which made the handling and flushing work considerably harder.

The reels were dealt with on site and recycled in full.
